Made by collegiate athletes, for collegiate athletes
A podcast where college athletes say out loud what the recruiting calls, the visits and the seasons actually felt like — so the next athlete standing where you stood doesn’t have to guess.
The mission
Every athlete deserves someone who has already walked it.
I grew up lucky. My mom and my family poured their entire souls into whatever I needed to keep going — the early mornings, the drives, the money, the belief. Not every athlete gets that.
Now that I’m a junior, I can finally take a step back and see what my community is actually going through. The recruiting. The emails. The visits. The deception, and all of the above. Most of them are moving through it with nobody to ask.
So this is the room I wanted to exist. Athletes tell the long version here — the part that doesn’t fit in a highlight or a stat line. And if you’re feeling lost, you can come here, find your sport, and see who has already been interviewed, so you get a clearer picture of how your own journey might look further down the road.
Who’s asking
I’m a junior at Wagner College, a psychology major, and I play on the women’s water polo team. I’m still in it — the practices, the travel, the semesters where everything lands in the same week — which is exactly why I wanted to make this.
I don’t run interviews. I bring conversation starters, and I keep them specific, because that’s what actually opens a person up. The point isn’t to get a good soundbite out of somebody. It’s to give them a place to say the real thing, at their own pace, and to leave it in.
The show is made by collegiate athletes, for collegiate athletes — recorded, edited and put out by someone whose season is going on at the same time as yours.
The archive
Every sport has its own version of the same road. Start with yours — and if nobody from your sport has come on yet, that’s an opening, not a dead end.
No sport by that name yet — tell me about yours and I’ll add it.
Your turn
Whether you’re starting, sitting, transferring, hurt, done, or somewhere you don’t have a word for — your version of it is worth recording. Tell me your sport, your school, and where you are in it. Every sport, every division, every year.

A question you’d never put your name on. Something you wish someone had told you. A topic you want covered, or a thing you want asked on an episode. No name, no email, no way for me to trace it back to you.

Nothing goes out without you hearing it first. If you record and change your mind, the episode doesn’t run — and anything you want cut, gets cut.
